Fresh off the release of her new book, Sweet Success – A Simple Manual for Turning Your Passion into Profit, Candace Nelson, the founder of Sprinkles, a signature national cupcake bakery chain with 40+ store and cupcake ATM locations, a noted investor, author, baking show judge, and advocate for entrepreneurs will inspire and inform the audience at NOSH Live Winter 2022.
During a keynote talk on the morning of Dec. 1, Nelson, who has written extensively on entrepreneurship in the Wall Street Journal, will offer a master class on the financial challenges facing growing founder-led brands as they seek to use capital wisely amidst a fiscal environment that portends a slowdown in fund investment. She’ll share lessons learned from both her time at Sprinkles and her investments and venture studio work at CN2 on smart company growth, community building and risk-taking.
That afternoon, Nelson will return to the stage to dig deeper into the specific issues facing founders during a special, exclusive breakout session available to the first 100 attendees of NOSH Live to arrive with a copy of Sweet Success. She’ll get candid about her experiences as a female entrepreneur, managing Millennials and Gen Z in the digital age, and her journey afterward launching her own venture fund, and engage in open dialogue with attendees about their own challenges and concerns.
