Notable New Products: Passion Fruit Berry Pop Ice Cream & Brie for Grilling

Van Leeuwen
Van Leeuwen has taken inspiration from artist Keith Haring for its newest ice cream flavor: Passion Fruit Berry Pop. The multi-colored offering features a blend of blue raspberry ice cream, yellow passionfruit ice cream, swirls of strawberry jam and features Haring’s art on the packaging. A portion of proceeds from sales at scoop shops during Pride month in June will be donated to The Center, a resource hub for the LGBTQ+ community, NYC residents and visitors. Van Leeuwen x Keith Haring Passion Fruit Berry Pop will be available through August 31 or while supplies last.
McClure’s
McClure’s has announced the launch of its new line of refrigerated pickles. Available in four varieties – Sweet & Spicy Slices, Garlic & Dill Cornichons, Spicy Dill Slices and Garlic & Dill Slices – the exclusive offerings will be available at Busch’s Market in all locations across Metro Detroit for one month starting Memorial Day Weekend.
Immi
Immi has launched its newest flavor, Creamy “Chicken.” The new plant-based offering is a combination of an American “cult classic flavor” and the classic Japanese Tori Paitan ramen famous for its creamy and savory broth. Each serving packs 21 grams of protein and 6 grams of net carbs. Immi Creamy “Chicken” is available via the brand’s website for $39 per 6-pack or $72 per 12-pack.
Planters
Just in time for summer, Planters has released three new flavors of cashews: Cinnamon Brown Sugar, Dill Pickle and Rosemary and Sea Salt. All three flavors contain 4 grams of protein per serving and are available in 5 oz. bags at retailers nationwide and on Amazon.
Pompeian
Pompeian has expanded its portfolio of olive oil products with a new Made Easy Olive Oil line extension. Available in four varieties – Made Easy Fry Olive Oil, Made Easy Bake Olive Oil, Made Easy Sauté Olive Oil and Made Easy Drizzle Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The new cooking oils will be available for nationwide shipping to retailers this month.
Alouette
In anticipation of grilling season, Alouette has announced the release of its Alouette Brie for Grilling. The cheese was crafted for use with burgers, vegetables, sandwiches and more. Plus, the 4.5 oz. wheel fits perfectly on standard burger bungs, the brand claims. Alouette Brie for Grilling is available at Cheese Lover Shop for $6 per wheel.
Perfect Snacks
Perfect Snacks has announced the release of its newest innovation, Perfect Bar Layers. Available in two flavors at launch – Crispy Peanut Butter & Berry Layers and Crispy Peanut Butter & Chocolate Layers – the refrigerated snacks pack 9 grams and 11 grams of protein, respectively. Perfect Bar Layers are available via the brand’s website for $29 per box of 8.
Olli
California-based Olli Salumeria has launched what it claims to be the first preservative-free salami in the North American market. The brand’s curing process eliminates nitrates and nitrites, instead relying on a simplified salt cure in combination with naturally occurring polyphenolic compounds. The new preservative-free formula debuts with the brand’s Olli Salamini and Olli Salamini and Curd Snacks.
