New Products: Collabs From Last Crumb and Boulder Canyon; BFY Animal Crackers

In this week’s new product gallery, Last Crumb teams with Fly By Jing for a special holiday collection, Impossible debuts its new plant-based franks in the Big Apple and The Good Crisp heats up its lineup of cheese balls.

The Good Crisp Company

The latest addition to Good Crisp’s snacking family is Spicy Cheese Balls. The new offering, crafted with premium aged cheddar and a mix of spices, has a kick of heat in each bite to keep consumers warm during the winter season. The Good Crisp’s Spicy Cheese Balls are available via the brand’s website for $36 per 9-pack of 2.75 oz. jars and at select Whole Foods Market stores nationwide.

Last Crumb x FBJ

Just in time for the holiday season, luxury cookie brand Last Crumb has released a limited edition drop in partnership with Fly By Jing. The collection features nine cookies with unique FBJ flavors, including Enter The Dragon (Xtra Spicy Orange Chocolate), Panda Kisses (Spicy Brownie Batter Malt), Sichuan Chili Crisp (Savory, Hot, Tingly) as well as the cookie brand’s classic Donkey Kong (Banana Cream Pie). Additionally, the box comes with all three FBJ features sauces including Sichuan Chili Crisp, Zhong Sauce and Xtra Spicy Chili Crisp. The FBJ x Last Crumb Collection is available via the brand’s website for $150.

Stauffer’s

Stauffer’s has announced the pre-launch of Simply Animals, a better-for-you modern spin on its beloved animal crackers. Offered in two flavors – Original and Chocolate – the updated ingredient formula contains no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors or flavors and is peanut-free. For the market test, set to take place in-store at Food City and Weis Markets in January, the Original flavor will be available in a 16 oz. bag and 12-bag single-serve multipack while the Chocolate flavor will be available in a 14.5 oz. bag.

StarKist

Starkist has launched two new protein pouch additions – Southwest Style 2.6 oz. Pouch and Roasted Garlic & Herb 2.6 oz. Pouch – as part of its Chicken Creations line. The former boasts 11 calories and has 90 calories while the latter contains 10 grams of protein and contains 100 calories. Both flavors are available at retailers nationwide for an SRP of $2.39.

Impossible Foods

Alternative protein maker Impossible Foods will drop a sneak preview of its latest innovation, Impossible Beef Hot Dogs, for one day only in New York City. The plant-based franks feature 12 grams of protein and contain 50% less total and saturated fat than their traditional counterparts, the brand claims. Shoppers in Midtown Manhattan can be among the first to try the product on December 16 between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. The exact address will be revealed on the brand’s Instagram page in the days leading up to the event.

Boulder Canyon x Grillo’s

Thinking outside of the [pickle] jar, Boulder Canyon teamed up with Grillo’s Pickles to create its limited edition Classic Dill Pickle Flavored Kettle Style Potato Chip. The new collab marks the second time Grillo’s has partnered with Utz Brands to create a co-branded, pickle-flavored snack. The LTO is currently available in 5.25 oz. bags at retailers such as Whole Foods Market, Sprouts, Fresh Thyme and Better Health Market.

GOOD GOOD

GOOD GOOD is seeking to redefine traditional jams with its latest offering, Blackberry. The small-batch jam is made with 60% whole fruit and contains just 5 calories and 1 gram of sugar per serving. GOOD GOOD’s Blackberry Jam is available online via the brand’s website and on Amazon for an SRP of $9.99 per 12 oz. jar.

Magic Spoon

With baking season in full swing, Magic Spoon has unveiled its new Sugar Cookie Cereal. The cereal features sweet, buttery tasting notes of sugar cookies and has 13 grams of protein per serving. Magic Spoon’s Sugar Cookie Cereal is available online as a 4-pack ($39) or as part of the Holiday Treats Pack($39) that also includes two boxes of Magic Spoon’s new treats, one Marshmallow and one Chocolate Peanut Butter.

MadeGood

MadeGood has expanded its portfolio of allergy-friendly granola bars with the launch of Holiday Sprinkles Drizzled Granola Mini Bars. The better-for-you indulgent treats are gluten-free, vegan and free of the top eight most common allergens.
