June saw plenty of keto-friendly innovation from brands, ranging from spicy hot chicken chips to low-carb cereals and cookies. Check out the gallery for some of the month’s notable launches, including plant-based, grain-free products from RollinGreens, GOOD TO GO and Woodridge Snacks.
Enlightened
Dessert brand Enlightened released a limited edition, single-serve Key Lime Cheesecakes, which is keto-friendly and contains 200 calories, three grams of carbs and one gram of sugar per serving. The cheesecakes are available for purchase online in two-packs for $8.
Killer Creamery
Killer Creamery ventured into frozen novelties with the introduction of zero-sugar Killer Sammies. The ice cream sandwiches are available in Chocolate and Vanilla flavors and contain five grams of protein per serving. The Killer Sammies are available online and at Albertsons and Safeway stores in the Northwest and Southwest for a suggested retail price of $5.99 per six-pack.
BFree
BFree introduced Avocado Wraps to its lineup of celiac and vegan-friendly products. The wraps are made with a blend of chickpea flour, rice, pea proteins and avocados and contain 100 calories per serving. BFree Avocado Wraps are available at Publix stores for a suggested retail price of $5.99 for a pack of five wraps.
Holle
Baby food brand Holle expanded its Bio Organic pouch line with Banana Llama, Blue Bird, Carrot Cat, Panda Peach, Zebra Beet and Veggie Bunny varieties. Holle Bio Organic line, intended for children aged six months and up, is available on the company’s website for $19.99 for six 3.5 oz. pouches.
GOOD TO GO
Keto snack brand GOOD TO GO expanded into granola with the launch of Grain-Free Granola in two flavors: Chocolate and Vanilla Coconut. The granola is made with a mix of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds and cashews and has seven grams of protein per serving. GOOD TO GO’s granola is available in select stores and online for a suggested retail price of $7.99 per bag.
Woodridge Snacks
Woodridge Snacks debuted Honey Mustard and Tomato Basil Sticky Rice Chips, in addition to expanding its existing mochi rice nugget line with a Honey Mustard flavor. The sticky rice chips are also available in Sriracha, Seaweed, Garlic & Pepper and Cheddar varieties.
Acid League
Toronto-based brand Acid League introduced a new line of Living Balsamics in four varieties: Apple Cider, Caramelized Tomato, Blueberry Pomegranate and Medjool Date. The new line is available at Whole Foods stores in Canada for a suggested retail price of $11.99 per 12.7 oz. bottle.
Laura Chenel
Goat cheese producer Laura Chenel debuted Everything Bagel Chabis, a goat cheese product blended with sesame seeds, garlic, poppy seeds and onion. Everything Bagel Chabis is available for a suggested retail price of $5.99 per 5 oz. log.
Bushwick Kitchen
Condiment brand Bushwick Kitchen launched its Bee’s Knees Honey in single-serve straws this month. The straws are available in Meyer Lemon, Spicy and Salted honey varieties on Amazon for $11.99 per 50 stick pack.
Amy's Kitchen
Expanding its soup portfolio, Amy’s Kitchen added Vegan Mushroom Bisque and Vegan Butternut Squash Bisque as well as two East African Inspired varieties: Red Bean & Vegetable Soup, Lentil & Chickpea Soup with Harissa. The company also added a Sweet Potato & Corn Chowder With Chipotle product to the lineup this month.
RollinGreens
After switching to a new co-packer, RollinGreens updated the packaging of its Cauliflower Wings with a recyclable box that better displays important product attributes, according to the company. The new packaging has rolled out at Whole Foods, Kroger, Walmart and Wegmans stores nationwide.
John Budd
U.S. Hemp Brokerage debuted the John Budd CBD brand with a line of products including tinctures, topicals and edibles. The company is rolling out products specially formulated for men with two powderized, water-soluble tincture offerings of Passionfruit-Elderberry and Unflavored, as well as a cinnamon-flavored gum three-packs containing 20 mg of CBD per pack. John Budd products will be available at 1,000 convenience stores nationwide.
Hattie B's X Flock Chicken Chips
Nashville-based restaurant Hattie B’s teamed up with Flock Chicken Chips to launch Spicy Hot Nashville Flock Chicken Chips. The chips are keto-friendly, feature Hattie B’s signature hot chicken spices and contain 190 calories per bag. They are available on Flock Chicken Chips’ website for $26 for an eight-pack.
Nunbelievable
Nunbelievable expanded its confections portfolio with Chocolate Chip and Pecan Sandy keto-friendly cookies. The snacks are gluten free and contain one gram of net carbs per serving. Each bag of Nunbelievable keto cookies contains four servings and is available in three-packs for $17.99 or six-packs for $34.99.
Bob Evans Farms
Bob Evans introduced two new breakfast options, Omelet Rolls and Egg Bites, available at select retailers nationwide. The fillable Omelet Rolls come in Egg with Salt & Pepper, Egg & Cheeses and Egg White Spinach & Herb varieties and offer up to eight grams of protein per serving. The Egg Bites are available in Cheese, Bacon & Cheese and Bob Evans Sausage & Cheese varieties and have up to 17 grams of protein in each two-bite serving.
Magic Spoon
Low-carb cereal brand Magic Spoon added two new flavors to its lineup: Strawberry and Banana. Both new flavors are keto-friendly and gluten-free, offering 13 grams of protein and four grams of carbs per serving, sold online for $39 per four-pack.
Icelandic Provisions
Icelandic Provisions expanded its vegan offerings with the addition of Oatmilk Skyr in five flavors: Mixed Berry, Vanilla, Cold Brew Coffee, Raspberry and Passion Fruit Mango. The dairy-free Skyr contains 10 grams of protein and eight grams of sugar per serving. Icelandic Provisions Oatmilk Skyr is available online through Amazon and at select retailers nationwide.
