August saw brands release new products designed to combat summer temperatures and get ready for back-to-school, from Coolhaus and French’s limited edition mustard flavored ice cream to easy breakfast options from Mom’s Best Cereal and Abe’s. Overnight oat brand Brekki’s latest flavor is Vanilla & Cinnamon, available in 6-packs of 6 oz. cups for a suggested retail price of $12.99 at Los Angeles region Costco clubs.

In a direct-to-consumer play, Hydration company Nuun launched a 30-Day Hydration Challenge Kit, including 10 Nuun tubes (three Sport, four Vitamins, and three Immunity), one specialty water bottle, one workout sweat towel and a 30-day schedule to track hydration. The new launch is an online exclusive, sold on the brand’s website for $79.

Big Spoon Roasters unveiled its redesigned packaging and released a new line of nut butters. The new line, now in 13 oz. jars instead of the previous 10 oz. packaging, features 11 new flavors including Almond Butter with Wildflower Honey & Sea Salt, Cashew Butter with Coconut Nectar & Sea Salt and Chai Spice Peanut & Almond Butter with Sea Salt.
