Snoqualmie Ice Cream Announces 2016 Seasonal Holiday Flavors

Snohomish, WA – Fall is in the air, and Snoqualmie Ice Cream, maker of super-premium craft ice cream, frozen custard, and gelato from the Pacific Northwest, has released its 2016 holiday lineup, including a brand new flavor.

unspecified-3Available from September through the end of December, the seasonal release includes Snoqualmie Ice Cream’s annual holiday favorites, Pumpkin Custard and Peppermint Stick Gelato. Additionally, the company is introducing their highly-anticipated new Sun Liquor Fancy Egg Nog Frozen Custard. Sun Liquor has been crafting its custom famous egg nog for 10 years, and for the first time, they are partnering with Snoqualmie Ice Cream to create a non-alcoholic ice cream version of this wonderful seasonal classic.

“We made a really great Egg Nog flavor in the past,” said Barry Bettinger, owner and founder of Snoqualmie Ice Cream. “But it had too much alcohol in it, and we weren’t able to sell it at retail. Our collaboration with the wonderful team at Sun Liquor has allowed us to perfect a non-alcoholic recipe with a fantastic taste, and it’s a real treat – we’re thrilled about it!”

All Snoqualmie Ice Cream products are made with more cream and less air in the company’s sustainable factory North of Seattle, making it the creamiest ice cream on the market. The all-natural pints are vat-pasteurized in small batches, rBST-free and sweetened with non-GMO cane sugar.

The three 2016 seasonal holiday flavors are:

  • Sun Liquor Fancy Egg Nog Custard: This non-alcoholic double-egg frozen custard is a Snoqualmie spin on Sun Liquor Distillery’s famous Fancy Egg Nog.
  • Pumpkin Custard: A classic combination of pumpkin puree, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger make this frozen custard taste just like a pumpkin pie!
  • Peppermint Stick Gelato: Natural mint candies are swirled into a peppermint gelato for this holiday favorite.
