“We founded Healthy Skoop on the belief that simple steps can help all of us make good on our intentions of improved wellness,” shared Rouse. “We take great joy in providing super nutrition and lifestyle solutions that allow our customers to power through their daily decathlon, vanquishing challenges they may face along the way to become their best selves. Our new packaging and products were designed and formulated to empower our customers to be resilient and reach their full potential, and we’re proud give back 3 percent of our sales so that children can also gain access to more fruits and veggies.”

Healthy Skoop has a new look

According to Natural Marketing Institute (NMI) Health and Wellness Trend study, demand for protein has increased nearly 40 percent in the last decade, with nearly three-quarters of consumers indicating they used high-protein foods or beverages within the last year. One-quarter of those individuals also agreed they had increased their usage of high-protein foods, and 37 percent used plant protein in the past three months. Furthermore, the study found half of consumers agreed plants are a better source of protein than dairy.

Leveraging these key insights, as well as retail and consumer demands for packaging that is ingredient-focused, simple, convenient and sustainable, Healthy Skoop is proud to showcase new branding and packaging for its products that’s fresh, clean, recyclable and clearly communicates with consumers that they are getting a delicious Skoop of nutrition through whole food ingredients. With an approachable style, the packaging outlines the vast nutritional benefits of each product, and how to use each product, in a way that empowers consumers to make good on their wellness intentions.

Built with a mission

Healthy Skoop has given back since day one and is a proud supporter of healthy kids. Aware that childhood obesity has more than doubled in children and quadrupled in adolescents in the past 30 years, Healthy Skoop partnered with the Chef Ann Foundation to create Project Produce, a grant program that gets more vegetables and fruits in front of school-aged children, expands their palates and encourages increased healthy food consumption through lunchroom education experiences. Healthy Skoop donates 3 percent of its total sales to Project Produce, and through 2015 has reached more than 18,000 children across the U.S. through its grants.

“Just like we know nutrition is key to our success at work and being the best parents we can be, we know children need superior nutrition from fruits and veggies to have the energy to learn and thrive at school,” said Stroh. “We are committed to making super nutrition more accessible to all, and that includes children who need healthy food so they can think better, achieve more and be their best.”
