Beyond Meat reported a 30% drop in net revenue in its ‘disappointing’ second quarter, citing a decline in U.S. consumer demand for plant-based meat products.

MyForest Foods, maker of plant-based, mycelium-grown bacon alternative MyBacon, announced yesterday it has added an additional $15 million in capital to accelerate retail and foodservice distribution across the East Coast and appointed a new CEO.

KeHE Distributors has entered into an agreement to acquire DPI Specialty Foods, a West Coast food and beverage distributor, the company announced on Wednesday. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
