Legacy Chocolate Maker Ritter Sport Extends Into Plant-based

Over a century old, German chocolatier Ritter Sport has made its first-ever extension into plant-based chocolate, debuting the line at Natural Products Expo West this year. The new line comes just five months after the company acquired Creative Natural Products, the Colo.-based manufacturer of Chocolove. That deal is also poised to mark Ritter Sport’s expansion deeper into the U.S. market, beginning with a focus on the natural channel.
