Deana Karim, Founder of Good Dee’s, Acquires West Food Brands, Expanding Better-for-You Food Portfolio
New York, NY - Deana Karim, founder of better-for-you baking mix company Good Dee’s, has officially acquired West Food Brands, marking a strategic expansion in the growing market for health-conscious and functional food products.
Karim, known for building Good Dee’s into a leading brand in the low-sugar, low-carb, and gluten-free baking space, is taking a significant step forward with this acquisition. West Food Brands brings a complementary portfolio of innovative, gluten-free food products.
“This acquisition represents a natural evolution for Good Dee’s,” said Karim. “West Food Brands has built an impressive foundation, and I see tremendous opportunity to expand its reach while continuing to innovate for today’s health-conscious consumer.” This includes reformulating the mixes with her own proprietary gluten-free flour blend. Future mixes are also being made with coconut sugar and fewer calories per serving.
Founded with a mission to make indulgent foods more accessible without compromising on nutrition, Good Dee’s has cultivated a loyal customer base and strong presence online. Karim has updated both the packaging and the logo as well.
West Food Brands is currently on Amazon and Walmart.com. Karim has released the Sweet Potato Donut Mix and the Banana Cinnamon Sugar Cookie Mix.
