National Bakery Award for Two Magpies
Following months of rigorous judging, Two Magpies has been crowned County Winner for Suffolk in the annual National Bakery Awards 2025.
The National Bakery Awards is an annual event that welcomes all types of UK bakeries, big or small, from every corner of the country. This year, its esteemed panel of industry judges selected County Winners, with the overall winners announced at the awards evening which took place in London on 25th November.
There were 229 nominees in this year's awards and Two Magpies Bakery Group was named the winner in the Suffolk region, fighting off stiff competition from two other renowned bakeries, The Friendly Loaf and Pump Street Bakery.
"We are delighted to have been named Suffolk's best bakery in these highly competitive and well regarded awards," comments Steve Magnall, owner of Two Magpies Bakery. "Our bakery team works incredibly hard to produce the very best products, whilst our front of house staff bring dedicated customer service every single day. This award is testament to the hard work that every person at Two Magpies puts in. We're incredibly proud to accept this award."
The awards evening took place at Big Penny Social in London on 25th November, with Two Magpies' Operations Director, Yasmin Wyatt, Area Manager Lucy Roberts and Back Of House Manager Fern Harman all in attendance to receive the award. Two Magpies Bakery Group produces all its own baked goods at its dedicated bakery in Walpole, Suffolk and operates 10 bakery/cafes across Norfolk and Suffolk.
