Perhaps no one has a finger on the pulse of the packaged food industry like Amrit Richmond, who relentlessly scours social media and trade publications to compile her cleverly designed brand news roundups and trend deep-dives, as well as her signature trade show guides (See: “What To Eat and Drink at Expo West”) for her content and community platform, Indie CPG.
As the founder of Supermercato, she consults with clients on industry insights and market research, focusing on what’s new and what’s next in consumer goods. Previously, she worked in advertising, media, tech and venture capital, leading marketing, partnerships, co-investor relations, and founder support programs for funds, adding up to a unique perspective through which to observe and track happenings in the marketplace. Most recently, she became a board member for SecureCPG, which has created “a founder-forward approach to insurance” for brands.
