All retail is a competition, but this one also teaches: The NOSH Live Pitch Slam presented by 301 Inc. will soon return to the NOSH Live stage for its fifth edition. During this core component of the immersive NOSH Live conference experience, better-for-you packaged food startups will present their innovative products and pitch their business plans during the event in Santa Monica, Calif., on November 29 and 30.
Emerging natural food brands will present to a panel of industry leaders from the natural food space, as well as the NOSH Live Winter 2018 audience, which includes industry decision makers and influencers, fellow food entrepreneurs, respected investors and health-conscious retailers. Past judges include successful brand owners, retail buyers, investors and executives from companies including Coolhaus, VMG Partners, Sonoma Brands, Foodstirs, Starbucks and more.
Finalists will vie for the grand prize valued at $10,000 and receive instant, beneficial feedback from experienced judges.Competitors will gain industry exposure before, during and after the event from the NOSH Live crowd and its online audience of investors, retailers, distributors and industry veterans, opening the door for partnerships that could take their brand to the next level.
Each finalist must present a four minute pitch and answer direct questions from the judges, with the winner announced at the end of the conference. During NOSH Live in New York, plant-based fruit jerky brand Watermelon Road took home the championship title. Ready to take the stage and pitch your brand to the industry? Applications from natural and better-for-you brand owners will be accepted until Friday, November 2. Only a handful of finalists will be selected to present on the NOSH Live Winter 2018 stage. There is no cost to apply aside from conference registration.
