Big Spoon Roasters Announces New Handcrafted Nut Butter Bars

DURHAM, N.C.— Big Spoon Roasters, a pioneering maker of made-to-order nut butters and snack bars, has introduced a highly anticipated new line of Handcrafted Nut Butter Bars in four new recipes: Apricot Pepita, Cherry Pecan, Cranberry Cashew and Figgy Chai. Made from scratch with the company’s fresh-roasted nut butters, toasted grains, dried fruit, local raw wildflower honey and other whole ingredients sourced directly from local and like-minded farmers, the new bar line features the same delicious flavor customers expect from Big Spoon Roasters, along with a number of improvements on the previous generation of nut butter bars, including:

- Lighter packaging using 60 percent less material
- Colorful botanical artwork depicting each bar’s primary ingredients
- House-toasted granola made with Certified Gluten Free oats
- Less water-intensive, 100 percent plant-based non-GMO protein (replacing grass-fed whey protein)
- CO2 gas flush technology offering a longer shelf life and cleaner flavor
- Softer, less crumbly texture
- 25 percent lower MSRP at $2.95 / bar

Each recipe is non-GMO, low glycemic, and free of partially hydrogenated oils, palm oil, gluten, soy, high fructose corn syrup, processed sugar and artificial flavors.

All four new bars are available to ship to partnering retailers. They are also available on the Big Spoon Roasters web shop in 12-count cases, in a variety pack that includes three of each bar, and in monthly subscription options.
