683886724.ocf.family2017 is shaping up to be an exciting year for New York-based upstart One Culture Foods. Launched mid-2015, the brand debuted brand new packaging and launching an exciting new flavor, Korean Gochujang Sauté & Marinade, at Expo West to jumpstart an aggressive push beyond their Northeast home region.

Founder, Hansen Shieh, created One Culture to share his passion for bold, in-your-face global flavors with others. The first line of products he created is a line of natural, Asian-inspired sauces that deliver ambitious global flavors, simply. The versatile sauces highlight hero ingredients within meticulously balanced flavor profiles for convenient one-jar solutions for busy home cooks.

New Packaging and Brand Voice

One Culture Foods is bringing their bold, spicy flavors to life by refreshing their labels with vibrant colors and eye-catching illustrations. The goal of the new branding direction was to give the look of the products as much personality and character as the punchy flavors and ingredients within.

Each label features a unique, abstract character that consists of traditional design elements from the region in which the respective flavor profiles were inspired by. Much like the One Culture sauces themselves, the illustrations provide a modern, creative twist on traditional elements from around the globe.

New Global Flavor

The brand is also excited to announce a new addition to the line. Korean Gochujang Sauté and Marinade is a sweet and smoky take on a traditional Korean staple. Unafraid of out-of-the-box flavor combinations, One Culture combines gochujang, chipotle, apple juice and sesame oil to create a subtly sweet and smoky one-jar flavor bomb for your weeknight sauté or that weekend grill sesh.
