Big Fork Brands Partners with Two Brothers Brewing for Bacon & Ale Sausage

CHICAGO, IL – June 1, 2016: Chicago’s Big Fork Brands, maker of craft bacon sausage announces its newest flavor, Bacon & Ale Bacon Sausage. Big Fork Brands has paired up with Two Brothers Brewing Company, located in Warrenville, IL to create a Bacon & Ale Sausage. Big Fork uses antibiotic-free pork and nitrite-free hardwood smoked uncured bacon along with Two Brothers’ Abel’s Weiss to create a collaboration of two crafts, (sausage and beer) combined into one amazingly tasty sausage.

Two Brothers’ Abel’s Weiss is a food-friendly craft Hefe Weizen beer with mellow yeast notes and nice malty sweetness. This Hefe Weizen pairs perfectly with the smoky sweet bacon in Big Fork’s sausage line.

And year-end data found craft purchases increased nearly 19 percent between 2014 and 2015, drawing more than $2.9 billion, according to research firm IRI. Big Fork predicts craft sausage, such as their Bacon & Ale, can capture the hearts and minds just like the craft beer industry has done over the last 10 years.
