But the event’s second day, held in Marina Del Rey, Calif., offered a packed lineup of CPG industry insights including a look from SPINS at the divide between what consumers say they want and what they actually buy, an inside look at how CVS crafts its grocery offerings, and entrepreneurial insights from Primal Kitchen founder Morgan Zanotti. It also offered the Nosh Pitch Slam, which was won by low-sugar candy brand Rotten.

Although net sales were up by $2.3 billion (3%) in its Q2 2026 earnings this week, The J.M. Smucker Co. spooked investors when it forecasted annual profits below analyst expectations, citing rising coffee prices.

The Hershey Company beat expectations for its Q3 2025 earnings today, raising its full-year outlook after reporting a 6.5% net sales increase to over $3.1 billion for the quarter. The North America Confectionery segment reported a 5.6% net sales increase to $2.6 billion.
