Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese Named Gold Medalist at 2026 World Championship Cheese Contest
CHICAGO, Ill. (April 28, 2026) – Kraft® Natural Cheese Grated Parmesan has been awarded a Gold Medal at the World Championship Cheese Contest, adding world-class recognition to its iconic status. As one of the most prestigious competitions in the dairy industry, the contest draws entries from across the globe to evaluate cheese, butter, yogurt and dry dairy ingredients. A total of 150 classes of products are judged by expert panels using rigorous technical and sensory standards.
Among a highly competitive field, Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese was recognized for its bold, balanced flavor and finely grated texture. These qualities have made Kraft a trusted choice for everyday cooking for decades. “The World Championship Cheese Contest sets a high bar for quality,” said Dhriti Batra, Director of Kraft Natural Cheese at Lactalis Heritage Dairy. “This award is a testament to the premium craftsmanship and global standard of excellence behind our cheese.”
Beginning in Q4 2026, the gold medal will appear on Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese packaging, bringing the award directly to shoppers. The seal’s impact will also extend beyond retail. “Featuring the medal on-pack reinforces recognition at the point of purchase and creates a seamless pathway from shelf to social, where it naturally lives across creator and organic content,” said Megan Patterson, Head of Digital Marketing at Lactalis Heritage Dairy.
