Treeline Cheese Expands Assortment at Whole Foods Market
In March Treeline Cheesemakers, a pioneer in artisanal plant-based cheeses, is expanding its national distribution with the launch of three new products across multiple regions of Whole Foods.
Beginning in March, Treeline’s Non-Dairy Cashew Mozzarella will roll out to all Whole Foods Markets nationwide, making this very popular creamy, meltable favorite widely accessible to plant-based and dairy-free shoppers.
Simultaneously, Treeline will introduce its brand-new French-Style Caramelized Onion Cashew Cheese and its already-popular Cashew Sour Cream to select Whole Foods Market regions.
Treeline’s vegan mozzarella combines the versatility, great taste and meltability people expect from mozzarella, with cashew protein, low saturated fat and subtle cultured flavors.
“We’ve always believed vegan products should be healthy,” says Michael Schwarz, Treeline’s founder. “Our new Cultured Cashew Mozzarella dramatically changes the high saturated fat, zero protein paradigm that has persisted in the vegan mozzarella space.”
Rich and flavorful, Treeline plant-based Sour Cream offers a versatile new option for cooking, dipping, and topping. The tangy flavor comes from Treeline’s proprietary cultures, which makes it almost indistinguishable from dairy sour cream. And amazingly, it still is low in saturated fat, without giving up any creaminess or flavor.
Treeline’s Caramelized Onion French-Style Cashew cheese is a line extension of its best-selling French-Style Cashew Cheeses. Its Herb-Garlic “flagship product” is now one of the top selling vegan cheeses in the natural food channel.
UNFI will be Treeline’s distribution partner for Whole Foods, opening these new lines up to a large number independent natural food stores as well as select conventional supermarkets.
