From Thai Kitchen to U.S. Shelves: Goodness Plant Debuts Bangkok Bites Protein Snacks
NEW YORK, NY (2025) — Goodness Plant, a U.S.-based, AAPI and women-owned snack company, announces the national relaunch of its brand with Bangkok Bites, a four-SKU series of high-protein chips and vegan jerky inspired by authentic Thai cuisine.
Founded by Bella, a Thai entrepreneur whose family has manufactured plant-based foods for more than 30 years, Goodness Plant bridges heritage with innovation—bringing bold, Southeast Asian flavors to the protein snacking category.
The new Bangkok Bites line includes Tom Yum and Sriracha Protein Chips (10–11g of protein per bag) and Pad Thai and Thai BBQ Vegan Jerky (14–18g of protein per bag). Each recipe is developed through in-house R&D using soy protein to deliver a lighter, cleaner, and more satisfying texture compared to traditional jerky or dense protein snacks.
“Bangkok Bites is about showing that global flavor and functionality can coexist,” says founder Bella. “We wanted to fix what most protein snacks get wrong—flavor fatigue, dryness, and lack of excitement. These snacks bring real Thai taste and a better eating experience in every bite.”
The vegan jerky format tackles a long-standing category challenge: overly tough texture and excess oil. Goodness Plant’s proprietary method achieves a tender, chewy bite with low fat and high protein, designed for both plant-based eaters and curious omnivores. The protein chips, meanwhile, introduce a crispy surface engineered to hold more seasoning, amplifying flavor without adding sugar or grease.
The Bangkok Bites line officially launched in October 2025 and is now available on Amazon for U.S. consumers, with expansion plans into select retail and specialty channels through 2026.
“This launch marks our second phase,” Bella adds. “We’ve gone from private-label manufacturing to building our own brand—and we’re just getting started. The goal is to make protein snacking more global, more inclusive, and a lot more fun.”
