Founder of PUR Spices Launches Bold & Airy Bites, a Boldly Flavored, Allergen Friendly Freeze-Dried Snack Line

CLEVELAND, OH — July 9, 2025.  Sonya Patel, the founder of the allergy friendly food brand PUR Spices, is proud to announce the official launch of Bold & Airy Bites, a new line of boldly spiced, freeze-dried fruit and vegetable snacks that are free from top 9 allergens and chemical additives and preservatives. Bold & Airy Bites is a product line created under the parent brand PUR Spices.

Patel, a former teacher and nonprofit founder, was inspired to launch the brand after struggling to find exciting, allergy friendly snacks for her children. “So many snacks for people with food allergies are bland, overprocessed, or filled with mystery ingredients,” says Patel. “I wanted to create something that was safe, fun, and full of real flavor. Something I would feel proud to give my kids.”

Each Bold & Airy Bite is crafted from whole fruits and vegetables, freeze-dried for crunch and flavored with bold spices and other ingredients. The initial flavor lineup includes:

• Banana Pudding: Perfectly ripened banana slices with vanilla bean and cinnamon
• Pina Colada: Pineapple dusted with real coconut
• Sweet Beets: Roasted beets with fennel, orange, and a touch of sea salt
• Chai Apple Pie: Apples tossed in PUR Spices Chai Masala and date powder
