Rebel Creamery Files for Ch.11 Bankruptcy Following Legal Defeat to Van Leeuwen
Still reeling from its $23.8 million legal defeat to Van Leeuwen last month, Rebel Creamery has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. In documents filed in Utah last week, Rebel Creamery declared $23.85 million in debt, naming Van Leeuwen as its largest creditor, while owning total assets of only $13.8 million with about $5.2 million in cash.
