NOSH Live: Unilever, The Goods Mart, and A Dive into the Data

Consumer goods giant Unilever, CPG data analytics leaders SPINS and IRI, and new, innovative c-store The Goods Mart will take the NOSH Live Winter 2018 stage in less than two weeks. The fast approaching conference brings together the natural food community for two days to discuss the latest strategies, trends and innovations in the natural food space on November 29 and 30 in Santa Monica, Calif.

  • Leslie Miller, Director of Ice Cream, North America at Unilever will reveal how this thought-leading strategic food business looks at categories and trends and how emerging brands can learn from that process. Miller will provide actionable takeaways on the ways brands can assess the interplay between trends, product development, and marketing.
  • CPG data veterans, Kathryn Peters from SPINS and Brian Reed from IRI, will use their years of industry knowledge and access to proprietary market data to analyze the status of natural and organic in the mainstream. The pair will team up to dive into the numbers both emerging and established food brands need to make decisions and plot their course.
  • The Goods Mart, a better-for-you convenience store carrying natural and healthy food brands, will be represented by its founder Rachel Krupa and Chief Merchant Alexander Duong. The duo will walk the audience through the founding of the innovative retail concept and how they approach stocking their shelves, while trying to compete in the c-store channel with low price points.

Main stage presentations are designed to provide discussion points for the various networking opportunities scheduled throughout the event, including the Official Afterparty powered by ForceBrands and the two-hour Sampling Experience + Expo powered by PINATA.

Early stage companies have access to an additional half-day Boot Camp session the day prior to the main conference on November 28.
