Fast-casual Chinese-American restaurant Mamahuhu has launched a line of frozen potstickers available in Pork & Purple Cabbage and Tofu & Mushroom varieties. The gluten-free potstickers are created with Klingeman Family Farms heritage pork, Hodo Foods’ organic tofu and a rice and oat flour wrapper. Mamahuhu’s potstickers are available online in California and through DoorDash in the San Francisco Bay Area for $11.99 per 8 oz. pouch.
Teton Waters Ranch
Teton Waters’s new Taste Budshot dogs, mini corn dogs, meatballs and burgers combine 100% grass-fed beef with vegetables such as mushrooms, carrots and butternut squash. The result: classic favorites with lower fat, sodium and sugar than their traditional counterparts. The Taste Buds products will soon be available at select retailers.
Daisy Dips
Dairy brand Daisy has debuted two new sour cream dips, French Onion and Ranch. The dips are free from thickeners, stabilizers, preservatives, added MSG and non-dairy allergens. Both varieties are available at select national and regional retailers.
Miyoko’s
Miyoko’s has expanded its lineup of plant-based dairy products with the launch of four Plant Milk Cheese Spreads. Available in Roadhouse Cheddar, Sundried Tomato, Classic Chive and Garlic Herb flavors, the new offering is made from a base of organic culture cashew milk. The Plant Milk Cheese Spreads will be available for $6.49 per 8 oz. container nationwide at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Natural Grocers and Natural Independents.
Sabra
Looking to offer consumers an alternative to Ranch and French Onion, Sabra says its new Roasted Garlic and Spicy Harissa hummus dips can provide “sophisticated swaps for the ‘same-old dips.’” The plant-based, dairy-free dips are rolling out at Target stores across the Midwest and will launch nationally on Amazon Fresh by early October.
Chobani
Trick or treat? Chobani is celebrating Halloween early by dressing up its yogurts in “costume.” The overwraps of seven Chobani Flip 4-pack flavors – Almond Coco Loco, Peanut Butter Cup, S’more S’mores, Cookie Dough, Key Lime Crumble, Cookies & Cream and Strawberry Cheesecake – have been transformed into spooky, interactive packaging. A QR code on the packaging leads to an AR trick-or-treat experience for consumers on their smartphones.
Lexington Bakes
Los Angeles-based bakeshop Lexington Bakes has relaunched its Hazelnut Gianduja Brownie treat. The gluten-free, (now) organic brownie was originally a direct-to-consumer, limited offering, but after a reformulation to remove gums and grains, the product has been added as a permanent option on Erewhon store shelves.
Ben’s 10
Mars has unveiled its latest innovation under its Ben’s Original brand: Ben’s Original 10 Medley. Available in four flavors – Chinese Style Five Spice, Smoky Southwest, Caribbean Style and Tomato & Herbs – the new offering contains a mix of hearty grains, vegetables, legumes and herbs. Ben’s Original 10 Medley is available at major retailers across the U.S. and Canada.
Dolcezza Gelato
Dolcezza has teamed up with media company NPR to create a Washington, D.C.-themed gelato flavor, All Things Cone-sidered. The everything-but-the-kitchen-sink flavor features a hazelnut gelato base with gianduja (chocolate-hazelnut) crunch praline and chocolate chili-candied hazelnuts. Each pint will be available for $10 at Dolcezza Gelato shops. Fifteen percent of all proceeds from All Things Cone-sidered will be donated directly to NPR’s All Things Considered. The flavor is available now through November.
Green Giant
Green Giant has debuted its newest veggie-based release, Dino Veggie Tots. Available in three varieties – Sweet Potato & Cauliflower, Broccoli & Cheese and Cauliflower – each 10 oz. bag contains Caulisaurus Rex, Broccliosaurus and Foot Fossil shapes.
