Taste Radio: Nature Nate’s Founder Talks Sweet Rise to Top

Business is buzzing for Nate Sheets, the founder and CEO of the top-selling honey brand Nature Nate’s. The former marketing executive told the Taste Radio team that he’s come along way since he started his company with a single beehive in 1972. This year, Nature Nate’s is on track to produce over 20 million lbs. of honey.

During this week’s podcast episode, Sheets explained how the combination of a highly effective label revamp and an intense focus on micro-marketing and innovation helped fuel the company’s evolution. He also discussed why his wear-it-on-your-sleeve spirituality has been a key component of the company’s mission and business strategy.

But that wasn’t it for food company appearances this episode. During the latest Elevator Talk, Hansen Sheih, founder of Asian-inspired sauces and instant noodle cups One Culture Foods, spoke about how he is embracing his roots and consumers’ interest in global cuisine to innovate.
