Lots to Crunch on at Sweets & Snacks Expo
Bakerly is the whimsical U.S. brand for a popular European line of baked goods. The company makes all-natural, ready-to-eat versions of both American (Twinkies) and European (crepes, croissants) favorites — minus the GMO’s, preservatives, artificial flavoring and colors, high fructose corn syrup and trans fats found in conventional products. The brand recently launched in the U.S. and it will be interesting to see how the line does on this side of the pond — will consumers put down the Twinkie for a peach filled sponge cake?
