Hollywood, CA (May 27, 2015)

imagine chocolateImagine Chocolate®, an innovative, taste-the-music-inspired chocolate brand of uniquely-boxed gourmet chocolate, announced the addition of three key members to its growing Advisory Board. Joining the Imagine Chocolate® Advisory Board are former Rhino Records co-founder and Shout Factory CEO Richard Foos, Icelandic Glacial CEO and former Nestle executive Reza Mirza, and former Guitar Center® and Fender® Corporation CEO Larry Thomas.

Led by CEO Mitchell Koulouris, a digital music executive and former GRAMMY® Governor, Imagine Chocolate® is a unique mash-up of memorable hit songs, soft-centered chocolate-enrobed creations, and a taste-the-music experience.

“I am thrilled to have our very accomplished Board members join our growing company,” said Koulouris. “Richard, Reza, and Larry bring unique experiences and relationships to Imagine Chocolate® across food, consumer goods, and music. Their accomplishments and experience are unparalleled, and I am looking forward to working with them. We believe that chocolate consumers and music fans alike from ‘Generation X’ and the ‘Millennials,’ can rediscover, experience, learn about, and appreciate great hit music by a song’s taste in addition to its sound.”

In joining the Board, former Guitar Center Chairman Emeritus, Larry Thomas said, “I am pleased to join the Advisory Board of Imagine Chocolate. As a lifelong student of music, and, as someone who has seen and heard the power of its global appeal, I can truly appreciate and want to help guide a brand that aspires to appeal to your taste buds and not just the listening ear.”

Joining Thomas on the Imagine Chocolate® Advisory Board is Shout Factory CEO and Rhino Records ® co-founder Richard Foos. “Writers and Musicians have long endeavored to truly connect with audiences through their unique lyrics, storytelling, musical arrangements to emotionally share what they write, play and sing with fans,” said Foos. “Imagine Chocolate truly adds a taste dimension to further enhance a music and chocolate lover’s feelings about a particular song. How cool is that?!”

Consumer packaged goods veteran, Reza Mirza, also joins the established Imagine Chocolate® Advisory Board, which includes world-renowned chocolate industry expert Richard Callebaut. An accomplished management veteran from Nestle Waters North America, and the recently named CEO of Icelandic Glacial®, a player in the super premium, natural spring water category, Mirza enthusiastically points out: “Imagine Chocolate is poised to scale domestically and globally with the universal appeal of music as a product attribute differentiator in what is now a highly-segmented category. I’m excited to join CEO Mitch Koulouris and the rest of the esteemed Advisory Board.”
