It is dedicated to improving the world by making the goodness of beans and rice delicious, easy and accessible to everyone; busy people with no time to cook, as well as those who want to eat a more plant-based diet but don’t know how. The company also hopes to demonstrate that dry packaged food CAN be healthy, and to inspire others in the food industry to follow. Yumbini comes in delicious flavors inspired by favorite bean and rice combinations around the world. Each package makes a satisfying 1.5 cup serving in just 6 minutes. Just mix with water and heat to boil and cool 3 min. Fantastic as-is or paired with other ingredients. The simple 100% plant-based blend of beans, rice and seasonings make it high in fiber, low in saturated fat, and filled with 14-15g protein; all without added sugar, preservatives, MSG, gluten, “big 9” allergens, or too much salt. Whole beans and rice are pre-cooked and dried so they are ready fast using microwave or stovetop in your own bowl or pot. That means optimal flavor, no cooking in plastic, and no junky cup to throw away. Thinking of our environment, Yumbini is dry, lightweight, and needs no refrigeration.
