As we live in today's world of convenience from speed shopping to speed dating, I needed a meal to start the day. I wanted the convenience of grab-and-go, without the guilt or aftermath of choosing a processed, sugar-packed meal. Part of my routine has always been prepping for the next day the night before, which led me to the creation of my first product, the Balance Bowl. I've always been a label-reader, sometimes spending way too long in the grocery store when I really should have been getting something else done. However, to me, that was always time well spent because it meant choosing the right foods and ingredients to nourish my body and provide energy throughout the day instead of having an intense sugar crash.
