Khloe Kardashian, Co-Founder, Khloud Protein Popcorn

 

We’ve been keeping up with television-star-turned-entrepreneur Khloe Kardashian’s snack brand, Khloud Protein Popcorn, since its launch, and it’s been popping off ever since. Just three months in, the brand has muscled its way into more than 2,500 retail doors nationwide, including Target and Sprouts Farmers Market. Khloud has continued to exceed projections, with chief commercial officer Jessica Lungareillo telling Nosh that the brand significantly outperformed other salty snacks in Target and sold out in some stores within days.

Kardashian has successfully harnessed her star power – including her massive audience of 302 million Instagram followers – to drive buzz while clearly communicating the brand’s value proposition. Countless entrepreneurial brands are wasting no time innovating to meet the rising consumer demand for protein, but Kardashian is demonstrating she can build a brand for longevity.
