Most Ready to Move on From Bean Jokes: Sarah Wallace, Founder, The Good Bean (Exited) & Vitamin B LLC

It took more than a decade, but after selling her legume-based snacking company, The Good Bean, to venerable acquirer Bush’s Beans, and spending time working on innovation strategy for that Tennessee-based, century-old company, is it any surprise at all that Sarah Wallace wanted to get back out on her own and start something fresh (and maybe as far away from Duke the Dog as possible)?

Wallace is now four months into her new branding agency, Vitamin B LLC, effectively returning to the brand strategy roots that brought her into the startup world in the first place. Wallace is, as the I-Bankers like to say, kind of dangerous: She raised a startup during a time when capital availability rose and fell, then managed the acquisition of another brand (Beanitos) and finally took her company to an exit and gained experience inside a bigger corporation post-transition. Take massive creative talent, add the perspective and drive of a first-generation American, then a strong value set on top, and the result is a personality well positioned to coach founders or lead other organizations straight to the top.
