Starting off his Mexican food empire out of the back of a VW van, Wolos has now grown his Tacombi restaurant chain to over 20 locations — with more on the way. But it’s not just foodservice that the entrepreneur is targeting, he’s also making big waves in CPG via Vista Hermosa, his line of better-for-you takes on Mexican staples, including tortilla chips, hot sauce, tortillas, and most recently, frozen burritos. All Wolos’ efforts not only help build awareness of Mexican cuisine, but also give back to the Tacombi Foundation, which to-date has donated over half a million meals.
