The Field Marketing Representative (South Florida) is a boots-on-the-ground, field-based role responsible for driving reorders through in-person account visits, conducting demos and tastings, and maintaining merchandising excellence across retail accounts. This is a Field-First role and not a desk job, you will spend 3-4 days per week visiting accounts face-to-face and 1-2 days per week conducting in-store demos.
You will work closely with Territory Managers (Sales Representatives) to take care of accounts and maximize reorder rates through relationship building, merchandising, and in-store presence. You will also support our distributor account base with in-person visits and demos. We provide dedicated admin support to handle route planning, and reporting—so you can focus on what matters: being in stores, building relationships with retailers, and driving product movement.
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
You will spend the majority of your time in stores. Your typical week includes:
- 3-4 days per week: In the field visiting accounts (10-12 accounts per day)
- 1-2 days per week: Conducting in-store demos and tastings
- Admin supports you with: Route planning and reporting
1. In-Store Account Visits & Reorder Driving
- Visit retail accounts in person to drive reorders through face-to-face conversations
- Build strong relationships with store owners, managers, and staff
- Check inventory levels and secure reorder commitments on the spot
- Prioritize Territory Manager’s accounts while also supporting distributor accounts
- Plan efficient multi-account routes to maximize territory coverage
- Target: 60% reorder rate within 45 days of account opening
2. Merchandising Excellence
- During every account visit, ensure products are properly placed, faced, and highly visible
- Set up and maintain POS materials (shelf talkers, table tents, cooler clings)
- Negotiate for premium shelf placement and cold box positioning
- Monitor product freshness and rotation
- Document merchandising with photos during visits
- Create "Perfect Store" standards in every account
3. Demos & Tastings
- Conduct in-store demos and tastings to educate consumers and drive trial
- Target: 10-12 demos per month at high-traffic accounts
- Educate consumers about Lorea's hemp-derived THC beverages and benefits
- Convert demo participants into buyers and build brand awareness
- Weekend/evening availability for high-traffic demo times
4. Sales Representative Collaboration
- Collaborate on newly opened accounts from Sales Reps after they secure the first order
- Keep Sales Reps in the loop via email updates on account health
- Flag at-risk accounts for Sales Rep intervention
- Collaborate on territory strategy and account prioritization
5. Your Focus:

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in cannabis, THC, CBD, beverage, alcohol, or CPG field marketingExperience with independent retailers, liquor stores, and convenience stores
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) Required for Miami market
- Familiarity with Florida retail landscape
- Track record of hitting/exceeding reorder targets through in-person efforts
- 3+ years of experience in field marketing, merchandising, brand ambassador, or CPG sales
- Proven track record of driving product movement through in-person visits and demos
- Strong relationship-building skills—you thrive on face-to-face interactions
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (you will be driving daily)
- Comfortable with large territories and multi-day route planning
- Weekend/evening availability for demos and events (required)
- Passion for hemp/cannabis beverages and emerging CPG categories
- Comfortable with basic CRM use—admin support handles the heavy lifting
- Leverages AI tools to accelerate output and improve quality, while maintaining critical thinking, ownership, and high standards. Uses AI as an advantage, not a shortcut
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and carry a 10lbs or more of product on a repetitive basis
- Ability to travel within the territory up to 90% of the time, defined as time out of office visiting accounts
- Ability to pull, push, kneel & bend
