We are seeking a dynamic, driven, and personable self-starter who’s ready to join a rocket ship and do whatever it takes to grow a beverage brand. This is a primarily field-based outside sales position managing and selling to accounts in Greater Los Angeles Area. You are responsible for in market activities, email and phone outreach and communicating with brokers and third-party merchandisers.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with current accounts, including calling and visiting retail and food service customers regularly and ensuring merchandising
  • Pitch wildwonder products and acquire/develop new retail and food service customers
  • Establish and prioritize weekly goals to drive sales volume, including but not limited to executing launches and promos, selling incremental SKUs and facings, collaborating with store buyers and managers to increase orders
  • Maintain good understanding of wildwonder products, price/margin, merchandising and promo strategies
  • Manage relationships with distributor and broker reps, in territory
  • Assist regional managers/directors to meet distribution and velocity goals
  • Maintain daily communication with managers via digital store visit platforms. Attend and contribute to weekly team and 1:1 meetings
  • Provide market level competitive, consumer feedback/insights/intelligence
  • Represent wildwonder in field marketing activities, demos and trade shows as needed
  • 80% of this role is in-market visiting accounts


Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience ineither sales or merchandising in the LA market, prior RTD experience preferred.
  • Experienced with regional retail and foodservice DSDs
  • Proficient in Google Suites (Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail), Excel, Microsoft Word.
  • Enjoys cold calling, talking to customers and building relationships and can handle rejections
  • Highly motivated, resourceful proactive self-starter that is willing to do what it takes to get things done
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Clean driver's license, reliable car, proof of insurance
  • Ability to lift 20 lbs., load, set up, execute and tear down promotional items
