Trade Marketing Manager

Role Overview
The Trade Marketing Manager will serve as the key link between Marketing and Sales, helping bring our brand strategy to life in market. This role will support the development of velocity-driving programs, selling materials, launch support, and execution tools that help SpikedAde win at retail and on-premise.
This person will play an important role in helping the commercial organization succeed by ensuring teams have the right materials, programs, and support to drive trial, visibility, and velocity. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to work in a fast-paced startup environment where they can help build the trade marketing function as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Support and Cross-Functional Partnership
- Serve as a key day-to-day partner between Marketing and Sales
- Help translate brand priorities into customer-facing tools and in-market programs
- Partner with internal teams and distributor counterparts to support execution needs across markets
- Bring forward field insights, commercial needs, and opportunities to help improve marketing support
Trade Programs and Market Execution
- Support the development and execution of trade marketing programs that drive trial, visibility, and velocity
- Help bring programs to life across on-premise and off-premise channels
- Assist in supporting market launches, seasonal programs, and customer opportunities
- Track execution needs and help ensure programs are delivered on time and with strong attention to detail
Selling Materials and Tools
- Develop and manage key selling materials for the commercial organization, including sell sheets, customer presentations, launch materials, POS tools, and one-pagers
- Help create clear and compelling selling stories that connect brand strategy with customer and market needs
- Ensure materials are on-brand, polished, and tailored for commercial use
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to update and improve materials as the business evolves
Startup Process Building
- Help build and improve trade marketing ways of working as SpikedAde scales
- Support timelines, asset coordination, and communication across teams
- Bring structure and follow-through to a fast-moving environment with multiple priorities
- Jump in where needed to support the broader needs of a growing business
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in trade marketing, shopper marketing, channel marketing, sales support, or related commercial marketing roles
- Beverage alcohol experience preferred, ideally in spirits, RTD, beer, or adjacent categories
- Startup, challenger brand, or other fast-paced growth environment experience preferred
- Understanding of how Marketing can support Sales with effective tools, programs, and execution
- Familiarity with distributor environments and three-tier system dynamics is a plus
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at once
- Collaborative, resourceful, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities
- Passion for helping build a growing brand in market
