Mission
The SirDavis Brand Ambassador is the ultimate authority and face of Moët Hennessy’s prestige American Whisky. You will be responsible for defining the "Future of Whiskey" by building deep-rooted advocacy within the trade (top-tier bartenders, beverage directors, and private clubs). You will blend the art of storytelling with a commercial mindset to drive distribution, menu placements, and brand equity in the ultra-premium segment.
Core Responsibilities
1. Trade Advocacy & Education
- Expert Knowledge: Act as the primary subject matter expert on the global category of Whisky as well SirDavis’s unique mash bill, maturation process (Sherry cask finish), and the heritage of the brand.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain a "High-Value Account" list, focusing on Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotel bars, and influential cocktail dens.
- Distributor Synergy: Lead distributor-focused events and activities to ensure SirDavis is a priority in their portfolio.
- Staff Training: Coordinate and conduct high-energy, technical training sessions for floor staff and bartenders to ensure perfect serves and storytelling at the point of consumption.
2. Brand Experience & Consumer Engagement
- Luxury Hosting: Lead private tastings and experiences for key trade influencers.
- Event Execution: Represent the brand at high-profile trade events, ensuring the brand’s "measured, responsible tasting" standards are met.
- Content Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing team to provide authentic voice of the brand content for social media and digital platforms.
3. Commercial Growth & Strategy
- PODs & Placements: Drive New Points-of-Distribution (PODs) and secure premium menu placements (bespoke bocktails, neat pours, and whiskey flights).
- Market Intelligence: Monitor trends in the American Whisky category and report on competitor activity to inform MHUSA 2030 Strategy.
- Data Accuracy: Utilize CRM tools to track account calls, follow-ups, and depletion successes.
Profile & Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
- Advanced Spirits Certification (WSET Level 3 Spirits, CSS, or Executive Bourbon Steward) is preferred.
Professional Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in luxury spirits, high-end hospitality, or brand advocacy.
- Proven track record of influencing tastemakers and closing commercial deals in the On-Premise channel.
- Experience navigating the three-tier system (Suppliers, Distributors, Retailers).
Technical & Soft Skills:
- Master Storyteller: Ability to captivate a room, from a dive bar staff to a corporate boardroom.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter who thrives on the road (approximately 50% of time spent in second and third markets) and can manage a T&E budget effectively.
- Cultural Fluency: An understanding of the intersection between luxury spirits, music, fashion, and art.
This is a contract position (1099). Salary Range 85k - 100k, commensurate with experience.
Travel: Up to 40-50% (Local and National)
