Hey!Hunger Expands into Southern California and Hawaii with Refreshed Branding and a Focus on Everyday Meals

FAIRFAX, CA (2026) -- Hey!Hunger, a California-based organic frozen food brand, has expanded into Southern California and Hawaii while introducing refreshed packaging and positioning its Veggie + Nut Patties as a whole-food meal solution.

The expanded retail presence includes select Lassens locations, Clark’s Nutrition & Natural Foods Market, Rainbow Acres and Cardiff Market in Southern California, and Mana Foods on Maui. The distribution gains extend the brand’s reach beyond its Northern California retail base. Availability and flavor selection vary by store.

Alongside the expansion, Hey!Hunger has updated its branding, packaging and product messaging to show how the patties fit into everyday meals. The Veggie + Nut Patties name replaces earlier Tikka Veggie Patties and Nutburger descriptions, shifting the emphasis from a burger occasion to versatile lunches and dinners. The refreshed cartons feature plated serving photography to illustrate ways to serve the patties beyond a bun.

The four-flavor lineup includes Roasted Beet & Walnut, Roasted Carrot & Almond, Sautéed Spinach & Pistachio, and Braised French Lentil & Walnut. The USDA Organic products are vegan, gluten-free and soy-free, and are made without protein isolates, gums or preservatives. Each 8-ounce package contains two patties.

The meal positioning centers on convenience for busy households: the patties can be served with rice and vegetables, added to bowls and salads, or tucked into wraps. Frozen portions allow households to prepare the amount needed and keep the remainder frozen for another meal.
