Michaels of Brooklyn, the family-owned, third-generation Italian restaurant and culinary landmark rooted in generations-old recipes, is expanding its line of cooked-and-packed-at-the-source sauces with the introduction of two new offerings: Caramelized Onion Alfredo and Basil Alfredo. Together, these new varieties build on the brand’s heritage of delivering premium, chef-inspired sauces that bring elevated, homemade flavor to everyday meals.
Crafted with the same commitment to authentic ingredients like real cream, butter, egg, Parmesan and Romano cheese—and the culinary excellence that defines every Michaels of Brooklyn sauce—the new Basil Alfredo and Caramelized Onion Alfredo bring elevated, restaurant-quality flavor to the table. The Basil Alfredo is made with fresh basil, not powders or dried substitutes, for a bright, garden-fresh taste that lets the quality of the ingredients shine. Meanwhile, the Caramelized Onion Alfredo features onions that are slowly caramelized before being blended into the sauce, creating a rich, layered depth of flavor that reflects the brand’s dedication to time-honored craftsmanship and exceptional quality.
“We've always believed that exceptional flavor starts with exceptional ingredients, and these new Alfredo varieties meet our high standards,” says Michael Cacace, chef and owner. “Our new Caramelized Onion Alfredo and Basil Alfredo sauces are made with real cream and carefully selected, high-quality ingredients to deliver the same rich, restaurant-inspired taste our guests have come to expect at our restaurant.”
Michaels of Brooklyn Caramelized Onion Alfredo and Basil Alfredo will each carry a suggested retail price of $9.99. Both sauces are set to launch on Amazon this month, with additional distribution at The Fresh Market and Sprouts Farmers Market planned for August/September 2026.
