For the fourth year in a row, Veroni,
the leading Italian salumi brand in the United States, returns to the BNP
Paribas Open, unveiling a fully refreshed and expanded branded lounge
At the heart of the experience: the
Italian aperitivo, delighting players and fans from March 1–15, before heading
east to Florida for the Miami Open presented by Itaú
From the deserts of California to the palm-lined
streets of Florida, Veroni brings authentic Italian flavor courtside. For the
fourth consecutive year, the U.S. market leader in pre-sliced deli meats*
returns as the Official Italian Charcuterie Sponsor of the BNP
Paribas Open. The journey continues in Miami,
where Veroni will also be featured at the Miami Open presented by Itaú,
running March 15–29 at the Hard Rock Stadium.
Together, these two tournaments form the celebrated Sunshine Double:
two iconic events, back-to-back weeks of world-class tennis under the American
sun, spanning the West and East Coasts. While the Sunshine Double crowns the
best players on the court, the real winner off the court is unmistakably
Italian flavor, with Veroni bringing its signature aperitivo experience to fans
and athletes at both stops.
From Tennis Paradise to Charcuterie
Paradise
More than a “Tennis Paradise”: with
Veroni’s Italian specialties, Indian Wells transforms into a destination for
taste. After three consecutive years at the BNP Paribas Open—the prestigious
ATP Masters 1000 and WTA 1000 event that welcomed half a million spectators
last year—the brand returns in 2026 with an even more immersive experience,
blending sport, lifestyle, and authentic Italian conviviality.
“Being present at both stops of the
Sunshine Double this year is a major milestone and a testament to our growing
connection with international tennis,” says Emanuela Bigi, Marketing
Manager at Veroni. “Following our debut at the Miami Open in 2022 and a strong
presence at Indian Wells since 2023, returning to Miami allows us to tell a
consistent story that combines sport and culinary culture. Our goal is to bring
a true taste of Italy to fans in a premium, engaging experience.”
At the Circle of Palms, the heart
of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, the brand new Veroni Charcuterie and Champagne Lounge
welcomes fans into a fully branded space. The Italian aperitivo becomes the
perfect opportunity to enjoy a moment of relaxation between matches, with a
menu featuring a curated selection of Veroni salumi—from the charcuterie-ready Antipasto
Italiano and Enjoy Aperitivo lines to the single portion Snack
Line—paired with selected wines, iconic Italian cocktails like the Spritz,
and soft drinks. The lounge captures the atmosphere of Italian piazzas,
reimagined in a sunny Californian setting.
From the lounge to the stands, Veroni’s
presence extends throughout the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, making the Italian
aperitivo a central part of the tournament experience. In partnership with
Sodexo Live!, Veroni salumi are featured in premium hospitality areas,
including Club Suites, where they are served as part of curated food
& beverage offerings and exclusive tastings. Fans can also enjoy Veroni
products at grab-and-go spots and stadium bars, bringing authentic Italian
flavors straight into the heart of the action. In addition, the Veroni brand
will be showcased on LED court displays across the main stadiums, as well as on
Tennis Channel’s broadcast of the events, ensuring Veroni is visible both
on-site and on screen, making the Italian aperitivo a signature feature of the
Sunshine Double experience.
Guests can also engage directly with the
brand during special activations: Veroni Day on Wednesday, March 4,
featuring tastings and exclusive giveaways, and at the Village Stage on
Thursday, March 5, and Wednesday, March 11, where Veroni will host product
sampling sessions, including a special Spritz & Charcuterie aperitivo on
March 11.
After Indian Wells and Miami, Veroni
continues its international tennis journey, confirming its presence at the two
more of the season’s premier events: the Internazionali BNL d’Italia
(April 28–May 17) and the Cincinnati Open (August 11–23), further
cementing the brand’s role as a global ambassador of Italian taste on the
world’s most prestigious tennis stages.
