In addition to the latest low-carb offerings, June also brought new ice creams from brands such as Tipsy Scoops and McConnell’s while Oats in Coats and Vital Farms innovated in the convenient, better-for-you breakfast category. Boozy ice cream maker Tipsy Scoops introduced a slew of new products including Strawberry Rosé Lemonade popsicles in partnership with sparkling wine maker Mumm Napa and a Peanut Butter Chocolate Swirl Whiskey ice cream in collaboration with Skrewball Whiskey. It also launched four boozy flavors in collaboration with country singer Kenny Chesney’s Blue Chair Bay Rum: Pina Colada, Spiked Key Lime Pie, Dirty Banana and Mango Daiquiri. The new products are available online with the popsicles retailing for $20 for a four-pack and the ice cream at $49 for four cartons.

Plant-based dairy product maker Monty’s rebranded ahead of the launch of its direct-to-consumer shopping platform this month. Monty’s product portfolio includes plant-based butter and three flavors of plant-based cream cheese: original, scallion and everything. The cream cheeses are available for $10.99 per 6 oz. jar and the butter retails for $8.99.

YOE!Superfoods

Homemade granola bar brand Lenka launched a line of adaptogenic nut butter bars under the brand Yoe! Superfoods. Available in four varieties: Chill (coconut lavender), Think (orange ginger), Protect (blueberry spice) and Energize (caramel cacao), the bars are available online for $35 per 12-pack.

Colorado-based The Function Chocolate Company launched two new functional bars: Energy and Sleepy in stores and online. Energy contains Chocamine and a blend of vitamins, taurine, L-Tyrosine, schizandra berry, and green tea extract. Sleepy is made with chamomile, valerian, lavender, lemon balm, magnesium and melatonin.

Meat snack brand Chomps added a Pepperoni Turkey stick to its lineup. The new product is flavored with chili pepper, fennel seed and oregano and contains 10 grams of protein and 90 calories per serving. Chomps Pepperoni Turkey is available online on Amazon and Thrive Market and will launch at Meijer and Whole Foods later this year.

McConnell's

McConnell's

To celebrate Pride Month, McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams and sneaker brand SeaVees collaborated to create a Sprinkled with Pride ice cream and a limited edition sneaker design. With a strawberry ice cream base, chunks of shortcake, a swirl of strawberry jam and rainbow sprinkles the ice cream retails for $12 per pint.

O'dang Foods

O’dang Foods added an Original flavor to its existing lineup of vegan mayo that includes Lemon Garlic, Cucumber Dill and Roasted Red Pepper. The mayos are available at Publix stores for $6.59 per 12 oz. bottle.

Japanese BBQ sauce brand Bachan released a Hot & Spicy flavor made with fermented red jalapeno peppers, soy, cane sugar, mirin, tomato paste, ginger, green onion, rice vinegar, garlic and organic toasted sesame oil. The sauces are cold-filled and produced in small batches, available online for $14.99 per 17 oz. bottle.

Vital Farms debuted egg-based breakfast bars, which will roll out in retail later this summer. The 3 oz. bars have up to 14 grams of protein, less than 200 calories per serving and are available in four varieties: Uncured Bacon & Cheddar Cheese with Hash Browns, Broccoli & Cheddar Cheese with Pastry Crust, Sausage & Cheddar Cheese with Cheese Crust and Southwest Fire Roasted Corn with Sweet Potato.

Better-for-you kids brand Oats in Coats debuted with two single-serve oatmeal offerings in Apple and Berry flavors. The allergy-friendly oatmeal is made with fruits and vegetables and available online in 12-pack formats for $36.

AYO Foods introduced a new line of West African-inspired hot sauces in two varieties: Shito and Pepper Sauce. Shito Sauce is made with smoked, spicy chili peppers while Pepper Sauce is a habanero-based sauce blended with onion, tomatoes, garlic and basil. The sauces are available for a suggested retail price of $7.99 per 8.5 oz. jar at all Fresh Market stores.

Baked goods brand Base Culture added a Sourdough Bread to its paleo and keto-certified product portfolio. The bread is made with eggs, cashew butter, almond flour, arrowroot flour and apple cider vinegar. Base Culture Sourdough is available at Whole Foods nationwide for a suggested retail price of $9.99 per 16 oz. loaf.

Allergy-friendly brand Blake’s Seed Based added a Birthday Cake variety to its rice crispy treat line. Made with flax, pumpkin and sunflower seeds, the bars are free from the top 8 allergens and contain 90 calories per bar. The new flavor is sold online in an 18-pack for $17.99.

Nutrition platform brand Bulletproof released a line of sugar-free gummy vitamins available in four varieties: Turmeric (turmeric and ginger), ADK (Vitamins A, D3, K1 and K2), Immune (Vitamin C, Zinc, Elderberry and Echinacea extract) and Sleep (Melatonin, L-Theanine and GABA). The gummies are available on the brand’s site and Amazon for $24.99 per 60 count bottle.

JADA released two new products this month: Plant-Based Porkless Mix and Plant-Based Mediterranean Chick'n Mix. The shelf-stable dry mixes are made from wheat protein, pea protein and pea fiber, and contain 125 calories and 21 grams of protein per serving. The mixes are available in a 28 oz food service option or a 5.9 oz. box (MSRP $8.99), the latter of which makes roughly one pound of plant-based pork or chicken.

After debuting its low sugar Kashi GO line earlier this year, Kashi introduced its first cereal with no added sugar: Simply Raisin biscuit cereal. The cereal contains seven grams of fiber and seven grams of protein per serving and is sweetened with fruit, sold at retailers such as Walmart nationwide for $4.39.

Made with a blend of light buckwheat flour, cassava flour, gluten-free oat flour and tapioca flour, the Blondie Mix can be prepared by adding oil and water. Each 15.5 oz. bag makes 19 servings and is available online in a 3-pack format for $23.99.

Canada-based Que Pasa Foods launched limited-edition Liberty Tortilla Chips. The chips, which are colored with natural ingredients such as organic blue corn, whole grain organic white corn and beet juice, can be found at Sprouts and Whole Foods Markets nationwide.

Allergy-friendly food company Safe + Fair expanded into the beverage category with Kids Protein Powder available in Chocolate Cupcake and Vanilla Ice Cream flavors. The protein powder contains nine grams of pea protein, up to seven grams of cassava and apple per serving for digestive support, as well as a prebiotic and probiotic blend. Kids Protein Powder can be purchased for $29 per pouch or $57 for a variety two-pack.

To celebrate Independence Day, Vermont-based maple syrup maker Runamok debuted Star Spangled Sparkle syrup, featuring limited edition patriotic packaging for its sparkle syrup. Star Spangled Sparkle Syrup is available for $17.95 per 8.45 oz. bottle on the brand’s website.

Direct-to-consumer meal provider Sakara expanded its breakfast options with a limited edition Endless Summer Granola. The granola contains gluten-free oats, buckwheat, walnuts and pink vanilla, available online for $16 per 11.5 oz. bag.
