Moonbeans

Moonbeans is a Chicago-based better-for-you food brand that makes granola from chickpeas rather than oats. Founded in 2022 by a wife-and-husband team cooking out of their home, it moved into a commercial kitchen in 2024 and began shipping its chickpea granola nationwide in 2025. Flavors include Original Cinnamon Stardust and Turmeric Gingersnap, made with organic chickpeas, pumpkin seeds, chia, flax and dates, with no added sugar. The brand has taken part in The Hatchery, Good Food Accelerator and Target Forward Founders programs.
