Healthy snack brand Rhythm Superfoods this year introduced fruit bites -- both chewy and crispy -- adding to its roster of dehydrated veggie-based snacks. CEO Scott Jensen previously told NOSH that it felt natural to extend the brand via fruit using its existing technology, and with facilities based in Mexico, the company has ripe access to fresh fruits. The line, which includes chewy watermelon bites and crunchy mango and pineapple, debuted at Fancy Foods Show in June. To further liven up the snack section, the brand also debuted a bright package redesign at Natural Products Expo East in September -- notably dropping the word ‘Superfoods’ from its products -- to focus on individual ingredients instead.
