We’re seeking a creative, strategic, Social Media Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves ideation and execution, and isn’t afraid to go the extra mile to build GBV’s digital presence and community.


Role Summary

The Social Media Manager at Good Boy Vodka will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that grows brand awareness, drives engagement, and supports business goals across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and emerging channels. This role will also support broader marketing initiatives and requires strong collaboration across content creation, paid strategy, community management, influencer partnerships, and real-time brand storytelling. 

This is a 100% remote role that may require work outside of standard 9–5 hours and occasional travel (quarterly) for events and content shoots.


Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and lead the brand’s social media omni-channel strategy in alignment with overall marketing and business objectives. 
  • Build and manage an integrated content calendar across channels (organic & paid). 
  • Identify trends, audience insights, and competitive opportunities to inform strategy. 


Content Creation & Execution

  • Create high-quality, compelling content (copy, visuals, reels, short video, UGC-style assets) that reflects the GBV brand voice. 
  • Own the end-to-end process: ideation ? script/caption ? shoot coordination ? editing ? publishing.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, designers, and internal team to produce engaging assets.


Community & Engagement

  • Actively manage and grow GBV’s online community, respond to comments, DMs, and conversations with consistent brand tone and personality. 
  • Monitor trends and audience sentiment, and can react in real-time.


Paid Social & Analytics

  • Plan, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns in partnership with the digital advertising team. 
  • Track KPIs, performance analytics, and campaign reporting (engagement, reach, conversion metrics). 
  • Use data to drive decisions and continuously improve content and paid performance.


Influencer & Ambassador Programs

  • Identify, manage, and nurture relationships with influencers, creators, and brand ambassadors. 
  • Coordinate deliverables, expectations, and performance tracking for partnerships.


Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with other marketing functions (events, CRM, product, partnerships) to ensure cohesive storytelling.
  • Support ad-hoc initiatives and projects across team priorities.


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 3+ years of professional experience in social media management or digital marketing roles. 
  • Deep experience with content calendar planning, content creation, and publishing workflows. 
  • Proven paid social media campaign experience and understanding of analytics/optimization. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills — ability to juggle multiple platforms, deadlines, and moving parts.
  • Exceptional creativity, storytelling ability, and eye for engaging visual content.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills and community management savvy.
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently, with a willingness to support outside normal business hours when needed.
  • Passion for culture, trends, and lifestyle content — bonus if you love RTDs, cocktails, or spirited brands.
