About Us
We are a locally-owned small chain of retail cigar lounges spread across Mississippi and into Tennessee. While all of our locations serve beer, our Starkville location is unique- it has a sophisticated 3 Barrel microbrewery that we use to produce beer for all of our other locations. Because this role is unique for us, we have a lot of flexibility. We can structure this position as a full-time, part-time or as a consultant/contractor, whichever you prefer!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and brew a variety of beverage recipes according to established standards.
- Monitor brewing processes and adjust conditions to ensure optimal flavor and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the brewing area and equipment.
- Conduct quality control tests on finished products to ensure consistency and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new brew recipes and flavor profiles.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and sharing brewing knowledge.
- Manage inventory of brewing supplies and ingredients, placing orders as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a brewing or beverage production environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of brewing processes and techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods of time.
