Looking for energetic beer lovers to join the team of Brooklyn's newest lager focused brewery opening this September!
We are creating not just a brewery, but a community space for novice and aficionados alike to gather around a pint and a plate with a welcoming staff knowledgeable and ready to serve our offerings combining classically brewed european inspired liquids.
Training will be 4 day sessions with mandatory attendance required September 2nd-5th
About the Job:
- Monthly staff gatherings to keep everyone informed will occur.
- Opportunities to represent us at festivals/ events and launches outside of the brewery.
- Starting pay: $13.75 + tips.
What we are looking for:
- Beer knowledge and brewery experience with proactive eagerness to learn.
- Familiar with Lukr taps a plus.
- Flexible schedule as we will be growing together.
- Experience with POS (Arryved a bonus).
- Comfortable with running food and working with a full kitchen program.
- Ability to work and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Attention and care to detail down to beer pouring and presentation.
- Legal documentation of US work status nonnegotiable.
- NYC foodhandler a bonus.
Tapster/ bartender:
Responsibilities:
- Greeting and creating a welcoming, safe environment for all guests.
- Safe and responsible service of food and alcohol.
- Continuous up-to-date awareness of our beer, wine, food offerings as well as new developments with the brewery and brand.
- Bartending / serving private events in our 2500sq. ft. bar and restaurant.
- Maintaining a clean bar and clean taproom throughout service including glassware.
- Educating the customer about craft beers made in house in an approachable way.
- Exhibiting a friendly disposition while providing exquisite customer service.
- Maintaining verbal communication to management and staff during service.
- Accurate and responsible handling of credit card and cash transactions.
- Carrying out all of our standards of practices (opening, closing and during service).
- Comfortable with basic bar and garnish prep.
- Shift report and close out end of shift procedures.
- A willingness to be flexible about schedule when necessary.
