True Story Foods Expands Target Presence with Three New Products, Including First-Ever Turkey Bacon

True Story Foods, a family-owned producer of humanely raised meats made with simple ingredients, has significantly expanded its presence at Target, introducing three new products and gaining nationwide distribution for four existing deli meat and charcuterie offerings as part of the retailer’s fall reset.

Available now, Target shoppers will find two new fully cooked organic chicken sausages, Organic Sweet Italian Chicken Sausage and Organic Apple & Wildflower Honey Chicken Sausage, nationwide. True Story also debuted its first-ever turkey bacon, Natural Hickory Smoked Uncured Turkey Bacon, in over 400 Target stores across the country.

The expansion also brings five existing True Story products to Target stores nationwide: Organic Oven Roasted Turkey Breast, Heritage Breed Uncured Genoa Salame, Heritage Breed Uncured Hard Salame, Heritage Breed Prosciutto, and Heritage Breed Diced Uncured Pancetta.

Arriving just in time for the busy back-to-school season, True Story’s new organic chicken sausages offer a quick, flavorful protein for everything from weeknight pastas to sheet-pan dinners. Both varieties are fully cooked and ready to heat and serve, and are made with simple ingredients such as organic chicken, herbs, spices, and real wildflower honey, with no preservatives.

The launch also marks True Story’s first-ever turkey bacon. Developed in response to demand for a pork-free and leaner bacon option, Natural Hickory Smoked Uncured Turkey Bacon is smoked over real hickory wood and made with simple ingredients and no synthetic nitrites or nitrates.

The addition of Organic Oven Roasted Turkey Breast and three Heritage Breed charcuterie products further builds on True Story’s existing presence in Target’s deli department, where shoppers can already find products including the brand’s popular Turkey and Ham Snack Packs.
