Lottie’s Meats, a Denver-based, sister-founded, all-natural pork sausage company, has expanded into additional Target stores across Colorado, Kansas, and Nebraska as demand continues to grow for high-protein foods made with simple, recognizable ingredients.
Founded by sisters Cassie and Chelsey, who grew up on a sixth-generation pork farm in southern Illinois, Lottie’s was created to challenge the perception that sausage has to be highly processed. Instead of using trimmings, fillers, nitrates, or nitrites, the company uses whole-muscle cuts of pork loin and shoulder, along with premium spice blends, to create chef-crafted sausage products.
Shoppers can now find all four of Lottie’s chef-crafted pork products in the refrigerated meat section at their local Target, including its two fully cooked sausage links, The Lottie and Bratwurst, and its two seasoned ground pork blends, Everyday and Calabrian.
As protein continues to be one of the strongest drivers of consumer purchasing decisions, Lottie’s sits at the intersection of several trends readers closely follow: protein-forward eating, ingredient transparency, clean-label products, and growing demand for convenient foods that don’t sacrifice quality.
In just two years, the brand has grown from regional specialty retailers to nearly 500 retail locations nationwide, including Target, Nugget Markets, Bristol Farms, Dierbergs, Lazy Acres, Foxtrot, and Misfits Market.
