Wild Planet Appoints CPG Marketing Expert, Clint Mickel, as Vice President of Marketing
McKinleyville, Calif. – Wild Planet, pioneer of sustainably caught canned seafood, today announced that Clint Mickel, established marketing leader and consumer packaged goods industry expert, has joined the company as its Vice President of Marketing. A brand management and consumer marketing professional with over 16 years of experience working with industry-leading food companies, Mickel will spearhead strategic marketing initiatives to expand Wild Planet’s footprint while reinforcing the company’s commitment to keeping our oceans wild for future generations.
Joining the team during a pivotal year for business growth, Mickel brings his expertise to help lead Wild Planet’s efforts in strengthening consumer connections, building brand awareness across integrated marketing initiatives, driving innovation, and analyzing data to enhance the company’s performance as a whole. With a passion for strategic thinking and understanding consumer needs, Mickel will be a critical asset in expanding Wild Planet’s market presence across key regions.

Prior to joining Wild Planet, Mickel served as Senior Director of Brand Management at Vital Proteins, and General Manager at Sovos Brands for noosa and Birch Benders. He not only established new processes for generating success across his marketing teams, but also contributed to driving substantial growth for each business through cross-functional marketing strategies, audience analysis, innovation support, digital campaign creation and project management.
