Emerging, better-for-you food brands will compete in the fourth volume of the Project NOSH Pitch Slam presented by General Mills’ 301 Inc., taking place on the NOSH Live Summer 2018 stage in New York, NY on June 4.
The Project NOSH Pitch Slam provides a platform for entrepreneurial brands to present their innovative products and business plans to a panel of respected judges from the natural food business. Past judges include successful brand owners and executives from Starbucks, Bear Naked, VMG Partners, Boulder Food Group, Halen Brands and more.
Finalists get a shot at a $10,000 grand prize, as well as instant, informed feedback from judges that will help guide their companies toward real-world success. Each competitor gains industry exposure before, during and after the event among both the NOSH Live crowd and its online audience of industry veterans, investors, and retailers and distributors.
During the last event, frozen paleo protein brand Tribali Foods came out on top, joining previous champions Yumami and Bronx Hot Sauce. To win, each finalist must present a four minute pitch and field direct questions from the judges. The chosen champion will then be announced at the end of the conference. Ready to take the microphone? Thing you’d be helped by getting noticed and gaining industry exposure? Applications from natural and better-for-you brand owners will be accepted until Friday, May 11. Only a handful of applicants will be selected to present in the finals on the NOSH Live Summer 2018 stage. There is no cost to apply aside from conference registration.

NOSH Live Summer 2018 will be held on June 4 and 5 at the Metropolitan West in Manhattan, New York. For early-stage companies, a complementary Boot Camp will be offered on June 3.
