About the Role

Our Framingham cellar crew keeps the beer moving from fermentation all the way to packaging, and we're looking for a few more players to round out the team!

If you've worked in a brewery, beverage plant, food production facility, or any sanitary manufacturing environment, you already have the foundation we need and we can teach you the rest. We have a culture of continuous improvement and having each other's back. That means that our team is looking for someone who can bring attention to detail, a safety-first mindset, and speak up when they see something wrong. If this is you, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

  • Transfer beer and keep fermentation on track
  • Harvest yeast, handle hops, and dry hop at production scale
  • Run CIP and pressurized CIP cycles
  • Operate our centrifuge and process beer
  • Check quality throughout fermentation and processing
  • Clean and sanitize tanks, hoses, and equipment
  • Keep accurate production records
  • Operate forklifts, pumps, and production equipment
  • Work through problems with Brewing, Packaging, Quality, and Maintenance

What You'll Learn

This role gives you the opportunity to expand your experience beyond basic cellar work, including training on:

  • GEA Westfalia GSC60 centrifuge operation
  • Braukon CIP systems
  • Yeast propagation and management
  • Dry hopping processes
  • Pressurized CIP
  • Forklift handling and certification
  • Quality and production processes in a larger-scale brewery operation

Qualifications

  • 1+ year in brewery, beverage, food, or sanitary manufacturing production
  • Experience with production equipment, sanitation processes, tanks, pumps, or hoses
  • Ability to follow SOPs, recipes, and quality standards accurately
  • Mechanical awareness, attention to detail, and clear communication
  • Reliable availability for your assigned shift

Preferred Qualifications (but not necessary)

  • Brewery cellar experience
  • Experience with CIP, centrifuges, yeast handling, or dry hopping
  • Forklift experience
  • Experience with production software

The Work Environment

Brewing is physical production work. You should be comfortable:

  • Standing and walking for much of your shift
  • Climbing stairs and working around tanks
  • Handling hoses and production equipment
  • Bending, kneeling, crouching, and working in tight spaces when required
  • Working in wet, hot, cold, and loud conditions
  • Working safely around brewing and sanitation chemicals
  • Regularly lifting or moving up to 50 pounds and moving heavier items with assistance or appropriate equipment
